Mortal Kombat X comes out tomorrow! So, all this week, I'm planning on fixing up some related figures. I actually started a Goro. ...it's not going well. But, Kenshi had to work. I've always liked the blind warrior, and he was just awesome in MK9. And this time he gets to be a part of the story mode! Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat characters change designs in every single game. And even when I was looking at his MK9 designs, it looked like every image was different. So, I used a little this, a little that, and a little imagination to pull this one together.

I added sculpt to the upper legs, lower legs, knees, lower arms, upper arms, shoulders, lower torso, upper torso, waist, everything. I sculpted over everything. And then I added a sash, and moved to the head. Started with a cast that I can't remember where it came from. I used it for Nightwing before. Vortious? StarWarsGeek? It was a while ago. I added the straps in the back from a Deathstroke cast I picked up from AngelForge, then sculpt the rest of the headband up. Full repaint, and I still needed swords. Psylocke's clear swords ended up working great. Painted one with a clear blue for the psychic blade, and another as a matching regular katana.

These bots are killing me. lol Thanks for the compliment! I've been debating making a new Kenshi for a while. He's definitely in my top 5 of favorites, and I think this was the last time I made him. So, it's been like 8 years.
