Hey folks. I've been a big fan of ice-cold killing machine Charles Bronson for as long as I can remember. Whereas other action heroes were flashy and punctuated each kill with a witty one-liner, Charles just quietly and efficiently took care of business. No one-liners here; after dispatching each criminal, he was already off plotting the death of the next creep preying upon the innocents of the city.
The crowning achievement of Charles Bronson's career, of course, was the Death Wish series; starring as architect-turned-vigilante Paul Kersey, each installment of this critically-acclaimed family-friendly series saw Mr. Kersey enduring the murder, rape, rape-murder, or murder-rape of a loved one, and gave us, the viewers, a front-row seat to the bloody path of carnage he would enact while on his quest for ruthless vengeance. The pinnacle of the Death Wish series, of course, was Death Wish 3, which saw Kersey squaring off against a cheesy 80's gang in a dilapidated section of New York. The highlight of the film is Bronson's wielding of the Wildey Magnum, which apparently is a pistol version of a big-game Elephant Rifle(!) that puts holes the size of hubcaps through punks. Easily the second-best action movie of 1985 (the 80's easily being one of the most violent cinematic decades ever) after Arnold Schwarzenegger's magnum opus Commando. Read a fun little write-up I did ages ago on Death Wish 3 at another message board I post on: Why Death Wish 3 was the best action movie released in 1985 (after Commando) Anyway, after that long-ass intro, this custom was inspired by HissTanker Shipshape1983's own masterful take on Mr. Bronson, which you can admire here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ul-kersey.html Yes, was originally a Star Wars Han Solo head. As Han Solo, that head is a total failure, but as a Charles Bronson head? With a little painted trademark Bronson mustache and some grey in the hair, it's spot-on, bro. Amazing, actually, and props to Shipshape for discovering that. You honestly couldn't custom sculpt a better head. As for the rest, I went more for his Death Wish 3 look with his ensemble, and of course I had to include his friend Wildey, which possesses the power to coat giggly muggers in their own blood from over a city block away. Enjoy!

Mother-lovin' Charlie Bronson! I was just watching him in "Breakout" last night. Another great custom. You can put together an All-Star Expendables cast with these guys.
