I've been strolling around custom forum for a while now, and saw many cool custom figures where taking a classic figure and reinvented in your own way. So, here is my take on the Joe leaders - this is how I envision each character:
Beach Head: Love the his resolute body and POC legs. Sgt. Slaughter - 1986 version is the best... why change? Duke - Love the classics look, so decided to stay true to the classics as much as possible. General Hawk: To me, he is known for wearing a Bomber Jacket. General Flagg: Look at some of the comics, he always wears neat uniform and dark glasses. General Joseph Colton: Graduated West Point in 1960, perhaps joining the army around Vietnam war era... So I decided to make him somewhat similar to Nam era - Green Beret inspired. Group shot - Flint is not custom, but he fits well with the group. Last edited by tuan_tran73; 02-01-2015 at 01:00 PM.. |

Holy crap! I want a copy of each one of those figures. Very well done sir. Excellent rendition of every character.

They are all very nice but the flagg is top notch, good use of those otherwise terrible crimson guard arms and those stormy legs ..

Duke and Flagg are my favorites. In fact, I'm in the process of doing the same thing for my version of Duke.
