An ever increasing threat from Cobra required the team expand further into a global theater. Named for their fallen commander the USS Flagg was christened the mobole command center and air craft carrier for exclusive use by the team. Concerns involving lax protocol and training where silenced with the addition of a special drill instructor with a history of breaking bad habits.
We all go home or nobody goes home. - Sgt SlaughterDrill Instructor Sgt Rober Remus is better known by the name Slaughter. Known for pushing those he's charged with training to extremes they themselves where unaware of. Fiercely loyal and equally ferocious in battle. When tactics, tech and intelligence fails his iron will and brute strength has triumphed. Last edited by Vanishing Point; 10-25-2016 at 03:52 PM.. |

Lead follow or get outta my way - CrankcaseThat impatient foot tapping jitter you get waiting in line at the DMV.... Crankcase gets it anytime his vehicle is going less than 100 mph. Rarely has anything nice or good to say about anything but more than willing to interject his opinion. Often trys to complete others sentences and often has the job half finished by the time they're done explaining the job.

FROSTBITE worked briefly as a lineman on the Alaska pipeline, but considered the job unchallenging, despite the 40 below zero temperatures and hazardous conditions. He joined the Army, when they promised to give him a challenge whenever he wanted one. Frostbite graduated from transportation school at*Fort Eustis*and armored school at*Fort Knox.Frostbite's driving ability earned him a spot as the primary driver of the G.I. JoeSnow Cat. Though he prefers frigid conditions, Frostbite has served on missions in a variety of combat situations, driving several different vehicles.

Before he ever came to command theU.S.S.*Flagg,*Keel-Haul*gained the reputation as one of the best pilots in the Naval air force. He flew*F-4 Phantoms*back in the day. He is so cool even under pressure that he is capable of the seemingly impossible task of landing his jet fighter on an aircraft carrier's deck at night and he did it in the unusual situation of having most of his instruments damaged from a dogfight. The people who saw him that day claim that when he walked off, he didn't seem bothered by the experience at all.His aides noted how his great knowledge of military history and chess (he's a nationally-rated player) have gotten his carrier group out of tight situations. If need be, he is willing to double as an extra fighter pilot. Still, nobody wants to tell him to stop playing the clarinet.

The origins of many*Cobra*operatives are easily bizarre enough but to have that same strangeness exist in a member of the Joe Team?*Footloosehad it all. Highly intelligent valedictorian in high school, track team captain, gone to university on a state scholarship, an upbeat life anyone can be envious of. For some inexplicable reason, the man just went off the public radar, leaving his past and achievements. The people who last saw him then described him that he has started acting weird. And just like that, he was gone for three years before he resurfaced as a soldier in the Army. His behavior still puts off a lot of people. It's as if he is continually pondering his direction and thinking something is bigger out there. As nutty as he may seem, it should be of some comfort that he is a reliable man in combat and one of the best out there in the field.

Lady Jaye*is a gifted linguist as well as an accomplished actress and mime artist. She is the most voluptuous woman on the G.I. Joe team. She has participated in or led many undercover missions for the*Joe Team. She is a believer in the saying that "less is more." That is why when she puts on a disguise, she eschews complicated makeup and rubber masks. Instead, she becomes the object of her disguise, right down to movement and mannerisms, even right down to the dialect and accent. It also helps that her genes help her pass for a number of European and Middle Eastern natives.Lady Jaye is educated in*Bryn Mawr*andTrinity College, Dublin. Aside from Airborne and Ranger training, she is skilled in cryptological linguistics, signals intelligence, and electronic interception analysis. She is just as equally adept at infantry field work and quite enjoys the grunt duty.

Flint*is a classic example of a great, respected field leader. He is capable of making thorough tactical plans and executing them to a perfect tee. A natural leader who inspires his men to victory and credited with the success of several rescue missions in hostile territories. He is trained in many military skills including airborne, HALO jumping, ranger, helicopter piloting and is a Special Forces man. With all those attributes, it would not have occurred to many that Flint was aRhodes scholar*and has a degree in English literature. The life of an academe held little meaning for him and promptly got bored. Joining the military was the adventure he was looking for. But all that literary pursuit didn't go to waste. The same tenacity and concentration he used to get through his scholarly struggles is what ultimately got him through his many trainings. He brings the same scholarly approach in laying out tactics and strategies.

Tollbooth*was an engineering prodigy. The building sets he made as a child were renowned for their size and complexity. It was only natural that he entered*MIT*for his engineering degree. When he became involved in construction projects, he made his reputation for finding solutions to engineering problems that haven't cropped up until they went past the drawing board. Finding solutions became his personal challenge and when he ran out of anything to pick out, the military became his next stepping stone. There it became his job to find all manner of ideas to get past the obstacles to where the Joe Team have to be. He couldn't be happier.

Quick Kick*had his odds stacked against him. He found difficulty being accepted by either the Japanese or Korean community because of his mixed blood. He would have had a passion for basketball if only he wasn't being turned down for his height. However, there was one thing he found out he could be good at. With his can-do attitude, Quick Kick excelled in many martial arts forms. He has earned black belts in many of them that you will find it hard to track of which ones he has yet to fully master. He is a top contender in Tae Kwon Do, Go Ju Ryo, Southern Praying Mantis Kung-Fu, Tai-Chi Sword, Zen Sword and Wing-Chun fighting arts. There are few places where mastery of the martial arts is prized. Hollywood is one of them. With his resumé, Quick Kick easily found work as a stuntman. The US Army didn't fail to notice him. He was recruited on the spot. With his skills and that same can-do attitude that got him through life, it didn't take long to get him inducted into the Joe Team.
