Lady Jaye and Slaughter are amazing. If that line or a line similar to that one ever were to make a comeback I wish you were at the helm of the design team.

Alpine thrives on challenges. Every obstacle presents itself as a barrier he must overcome. In the flat Snake River Plain where he grew up, the mountains surrounding the area represented such barriers. Barriers that made him feel trapped. To this end, he took up mountain climbing whenever he can, even if it has to be recreational. When that wasn't enough, he joined the army, graduated from Fort Benning's Ranger School and ended up with the G.I. Joe Team. Now, he has one of the toughest assignments. Climbing up towards enemy positions while getting shot at. He's also an excellent accountant.

Bazooka's trainers described him as a decisive fast thinker with the instincts of a natural survivor. They must have been on to something when they saw his transfer request to Armor School. Bazooka was driving an Abrams tank as part of the Third Armored Divisionwhen he came to the realization that an iliterate farmer armed with a $200 rocket launcher can knock out a tank. While Bazooka has never quite projected himself to be a highly intelligent individual, he has surprised his teammates and foes alike with his strength and tenacity. Having trained on both sides of armor, Bazooka is just as much a qualified tank operator as he is an anti-armor expert. When he's not busy, he likes to engage in his passion for fishing.

The Kellys are a clan of multi-generational firefighters. Each Kelly son is very much expected to follow in the clan's footsteps. But there is one son who broke off from the family tradition. While he did have a stint as a Boston fireman, Barbecue broke off early on to join the Army. Perhaps this is a testament to his adventurous nature. His profile indicates that his being a fireman was not of some sense of duty or tradition rather he enjoys the action that goes on in every drill and emergency.Barbecue is often described as a party animal who knows how to get people excited. But come the time that for an actual emergency, you can just as much trust him to maintain everyone's coolheadedness.

Shipwreck has earned a reputation as being one of the more rambunctious members of the G.I. Joe Team. It's not that he is in any way disobedient or disrespectful of higher up officers. His arrogant, brash personality and stereotypical sailor attitude has gotten him in trouble so many times. He prefers to take up his own actions and fight the enemy in his own way. He also has a reputation for telling tall tales and for his poor culinary skills. It seems he is the only one who can stomach his own cooking. His superiors have had enough and shipped him to Navy S.E.A.L. School in the hopes the training there would make him a better man. It made him better alright... a better fighter only.

Airtight has always been the unrepentant practical joker. He dabbles in all sorts of pranks. Itching powder, whoopee cushions, plastic barf, everything you could ever think of and more. Such actions would have tested the patience of his teammates to their very limits. He would probably have been thrown out long ago if it weren't for the fact that he's the only one who volunteers to suit up without hesitation for the missions that would make one's skin crawl. Cobra continuously comes up with ever more lethal concoctions and the fact that any one of them could be so corrosive enough to eat through that suit of his never seem to bother him at all.Airtight specializes in CBR (chemical, biological and radiological) science. An interest nurtured by his strange childhood. As a boy, his obsessions include testing his limits in offbeat ways (he could hold his breath the longest), collecting plastic dinosaurs and thinks peanut butter and tomato go together perfect as a sandwich.

The desert is one of the most unforgiving environments to send soldiers to. Often, there is a need for one specialist to take on survival responsibilities. Dusty has taken the responsibility without question. At a young age, he has fell in love with the desert. To him, it is the last true frontier. Clean, pure and unforgiving. He studied desert ecology while working as a refrigerator and air-conditioner repairman. When he signed up in the Army, he was the only one who really enjoyed his training at Fort Bliss, Texas. Already proficient in desert survival, he has also trained to be fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and has some working knowledge on Kazakh andKhalka language. The blistering heat of the day, freezing cold nights, snakes, scorpions, sheet lightning, dust storms, sand, none of these faze Dusty. They just make him feel at home.
