your not likley to get many blind sales without renderings, models, prototypes or something people can judge the value against thier hard earned money.
i like the concept but i can't honestly say i would purchase one not knowing anything about how it looks, functions, etc. other than the simple line diagram you've posted.

I'll echo what others are saying.. build up a prototype, one that'll look like or very, very close to the finished product and I'm sure you'll get more solid answers..
Right now, people can say they'd buy it, but then it turns out to be made of cheap for sale signs and duct tape.. and I doubt you'll sell one like that, lol.. Looks good so far, keep us updated. |

Thanks for all the feedback. I will be keeping you all updated on the progress. Once the prototypes are started I will post those pics as well.

do you atleast have it modeled? anything to show before prototyping is done? unless you have a 3d printer, prototyping is very expensive is it not?
any chance the treads are moveable? that alone would make it worthwhile to me. seriously, why someone hasn't remade a base to snap in to a stock hiss with moveable treads is amazing. i think you could make a fortune on that upgrade alone.

Your concept sounds interesting. I don't know what the final result will be though. I for one will not be replacing my whole group of HISS tanks for a custom version that costs twice as much and is not likely to be a large run or continually supported.
I think you'd honestly have more success building just these back modules for us to modify our existing HISS tanks. That keeps you out of copyright hot water and offers us something we want but can't get anywhere else, while simultaneously not pushing us to replace our collections. Just my thoughts. My project is to build battery-powered bottoms for our HISSes. I'm following the advice I'm giving you, so please don;t think I'm being a dick. I'll be watching to see how your HISSes come along! |

I would buy one depending on how it looks. My wet dream right now is a Resolute Hiss Tank.

didn't the sigma 6 toy line come out with a modular HISS similar to what you descibed? Should be cool to see one in classic colors tho.

It sounds pretty exciting! I'm a mark for custom pieces, so if it looks good, I'll certainly knocking at your door! : )
