told you guys when i got back from my TDY's i would post some pix of my 130. im finally moved into my new house but it will be months before i am able to set up my gi joe room aka the pit so for now im just posting old pix i tok right after it was done.
im trying to remember the mods off the top of my head. i split the front seats instead of the bench seat. behind the front seats i put in a comms center, also has access to a side gun. i put a pass through to the back compartment bc well, it just needs it lol the lights and sound battery area i removed all that crap and made it an access hatch. in the bay i added a work area. it has a display wall with a monitor and all that stuff, and work table. on the side with the seats i added another gun to the rear so there is some defence on that side. the gun side i put a 50 cal, rocket launcher, and a 105mm cannon. the rear hatch i was going to mod and get rid of the latch so vehicles can roll free but after looking at the space there isnt much rolling out of that so i left the latch for ease and will just take things out the top mostly. speaking of the top i took off that stupid carry handle but left the latch inplace so the wings stay locked on. oh and in the cock pit i added a floor. and in the bay where the wheel humps are i added a floor plate there to to even it all out. at the time i didnt have decals to put on it, which happens alot with my customs. i used to make my own but its such a pain so once i revisit the 130 when i unpack it i might look into finding some decals for it. i put a ODG paint on the outside, pretty much the left the inside as it was i think. dont remember its been awhile lol hope you all like it. any questions or comments please let me know. thanks for looking. https://imageshack.com/user/Voice_of_Reason Last edited by Voice of Reason; 08-22-2015 at 10:39 PM.. |

Mines been in "development hell" for about 3 years now. I'm glad to see someone making progress on theirs. By the way, Cobra Stickers has a great set for the plane with a mixture of JOE and military style markings. It's not a bad price for the amount of decals it comes with.

why is yours in "development hell"?
well get on it man! lol jk this was done just over 2 ago years i guess. pretty much bought it the day it came to tru and started chopping her up. took me about a week of free time here and there to get it done. i usually get my decals from them. they put out some great stuff. what happens is i get all crazy about doing the custom then when im done im like crap i forgot to order stickers. by then im like well i got no room for the big stuff so i take pix and it goes in storage. its funny bc if i do customs for friends or comissions stickers are the first thing i order while i make my parts list but when it comes to mine i always forget lol my "pit" is huge, i could put a fleet of flags in there so the big stuff if displayed right after the remodel should have a home. time will tell. im a few months away from finishing building out the space as it will store other collections and comics to. |

I used to be a Loadmaster and flying crew chief on C-130's. I'm on C-17's now.
