based on the 1986 card art- the human arms are cool, it kind of makes the whole concept a little more sinister and gruesome to think of them not as just robots but as (former?) human beings that were experimented on and modified by mindbender.

The Human elbows makes the whole BAT concept....much more....twisted.
The head could even be a helmet over the original human's head, or what's left of it. The chest piece could be surgically implanted in the ribcage, the arms..... Excuse me. I have to go work on my fan fic.... |

Oh, that is just...yeah.
Great work though. I really like the helmet too. You need to paint an eyeball on the battle damaged one! When I was a kid, I had the T-800 figure from the Terminator 2 toyline, and I used to put some flesh colored silly putty on it to make it look battle damaged. Some of that might look cool on one of these. |

thanks, guys. i've been meaning to make this forever, but i kept getting sidetracked. the arms didn't end up being nearly as tricky as i had feared.
