Well Summer is over for me and I'm back to work, I'm a teacher, thus all the time I had to crank out customs has been turned into near zero. I still work on my current commissions, but side projects have been sidelined. Well the other day while I was waiting for some paint to dry I figured I'd try taking a BBI figure and bashing it with a Joe. I chose this guy because I had the perfect waist, Dusty, you know the one with extra waist articulation. Anyway I popped the BBI legs off, drilled out the torso, cracked ol' Dusty open, took the lower waist and glued it in the BBI torso. I still have waist articulation thanks to Dusty's added artic, and his coat works perfectly for the under coat portion of the BBI torso. I then fully painted it, added accessories and called it a day.
So here is Navy SEAL Dirt. Okay so the name may be changed but for now I'm sticking to it. |

This is outstanding brother! I love your universe and the body of work that it includes. I also love how you are splicing Joes with those target elite force figures, they have a quality of their own and they are amazing for customs.
Trust me man I know your pain. I am also an educator. Right now it has been really stressful and it does not leave enough time for customizing, except maybe weekends after I finish grading. |

I love teaching but it is so time consuming, along with my regular teaching duties / responsibilities is my 5 hour commute (2 hours to get to work in the morning and 3 to get home each night) and I am exhausted when I walk in the door. Adding to all that I became a volunteer firefighter back in April so either Thurs night or Sun day I have to go do coverage at the fire house and on Mondays we do training and all in all I have so little time I'm not sure I'll be doing many figures outside of my few commissions. |

Nicely done! The figure has a real world feel to it.

Thanks man. I have fun making figures and writing stories, although I'm behind on the writing as of late. I gotta get on that (note to self write more stuff).
