So I was given a broken '93 Ninja Lightning cycle and decided to repair it and paint it up. I usually do factory style paint, but decided to try to do some weathering and detail paint on this one as its been years since I did any of that on models. Paints were a mix of airbrush and dry brushing with Testors enamels and some Gundam marker for panel lines. I modded the side cannon some and gave it new mount posts. Decals are a mix of whatever I had on hand. I decided Snake Eyes needed his own ride, especially since its a Ninja Lightning. Thanks go out to Forcefull1 for hooking me up with this fun little bike.

I agree with you brother! That was the first thought when I saw this. It has this Mospeada feel to it. I love the weathering to it especially the detailing of the Gatling gun.
Very cool indeed! Keep rocking! |

I have an old Ninja Lightning bike too and have been wondering how I could make it not be crap. Looks like you nailed it! Great work!

Thanks! Its a fun little vehicle to paint up. It makes me wonder how many of the other neon nightmares of the 90s line could be revamped with a little paint.

Bro I think several of them rocked except the colors never helped them.
The Boat was amazing I forget the name but it is red, white and blue with orange guns, and the Detonator remains my favorite large tank thanks to the mods Blood Brigade has done to them I see their potential now. The Brawler tank is a cool vehicle as well that just needs some paint. |

YOJOE.COM | Shark 9000 And I agree on the Detonator, Blood Brigade has done some fantastic customs with those and they seem very versatile. I think sometime I'd like to try to mod and paint a Parasite and a Septic Tank too, I really like that louvered canopy they have.

Yes the SHARK 9000 ! Someone made a custom of it in olive drab green colors with more realistic weapons and it was fantastic.
