This is my Rebel Angel fan fiction collection of customs. Each one has a story per link below.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...lance858a.html My Joeverse summary - 200-300 years in the future, Cobra, a ancient secret society whose list of historic leaders/Cobra Commanders include Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, and Hitler, finally succeed in taking over the world through the massive use of nukes. Survivors of that nuclear holocaust find themselves cast into a future dark age under fuedal law with Cobra dominating every aspect of their lives. It's a high tech cyber punk industrial wasteland world. For those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, their only choice is to escape into the Badlands, vast areas of nearly uninhabitable wasteland, where they live as outlaws, bandits, pirates, and or freedom fighters. Create your own band of outlaws/freedom fighters/mercenaries/pirates or your own Cobra strike force for this world! You can even have your own Sector, name it Sector WHATEVER YOU WANT, or you can be a Cobra Noble with your own land to rule. Rule it however you want. Create fantastic background stories and post away! Choose your side and let the creative juices flow! More Pics here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1041224...elAngelOCFeral THANKS TO DR. VILE! With his permission, this character was inspired/borrowed from our good friend Dr. Vile and his universe linked below: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...el-angels.html I think Dr. Vile's universe is absolutely awesome, like a cross between a 1970s BBC scifi and a strange anime. I think at first glance, it's easy to overlook the artistry behind his work because the creativity is so seamless, almost as if the sets were factory made and all the light-up control panels came ready made. Then there are the characters which I really liked, especially this one which I always referred to as My Girl with the Pearls. Overall, I think Dr. Vile's creative perspective and voice is a unique one among us. I hope to see more and I hope you guys all take another look at his thread. It's just a fun universe. Thanks for the inspiration and letting me use this character! Hope she meets your approval. Pictures of Dr. Vile's character are mixed in below with pictures of mine.

Part 140: I’m on My Way to Meet You
Hello, this is NPR (National Pirate Radio) and you’re about to hear another episode of Twenty Questions. Thank you for listening in to our broadcast, the pirate signal will commence shortly. We urge you to record and distribute this message by any means necessary so that all those who yearn for freedom from tyranny can also hear our inspiring stories and have hope once again. On today’s episode of Twenty Questions we bring to you an interview with perhaps one of the most feared outlaws from within all the Badlands of Sector 858A. He has been called many names throughout the years: the Scourge of Sector 858A; the Black Heart; Chief of the Pirates: Lord of the Doomed; but the title that commands the most attention is Most Wanted. Cobra has declared one of the largest bounties ever placed on an outlaw, even above the amount on the infamous Outlaw Star Cover Girl. He is both feared, and loved. Feared by Cobra, loved by those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, at least, those who manage to survive the journey into the Badlands to join his cause. We are talking, of course, about General Fernando Salazar, the self-proclaimed freedom fighter and the leader of a band of mercenaries who call themselves the Tank Busters. For those listening to this pirated signal, we remind you to exercise extreme caution. Cobra has declared the possession of NPR materials to be an act of treason punishable by death. So begins our story: After several days’ journey through the Badlands of Sector858A with a blindfold on, our Twenty Questions reporter was finally taken into a concrete apartment somewhere in the Badlands. She was told to sit in the dark room with only some faint sunlight peeking through the cracks of a piece of plywood being used as window blinds covering the building’s only small window. Finally, General Salazar entered the room. He was much bigger than she expected. In fact, he resembled more of a muscular henchman than a feared general. She took note of his broad smile and unexpected relaxed demeanor, all things considered. Although he was a self-proclaimed freedom fighter, he was also accused of having taken part in many atrocities against humanity. There were accusations of kidnapping Cobra officials for ransom, pirating supply convoys headed for Prometheus (a troubled refinery colony now under siege by the Empire of the Iron Grenadiers) and even waging war against other warlords. He calls himself a general, and so do his Tank Busters, but officially, Salazar is a warlord. In a soft eloquent woman’s voice, the reporter begins her interview. Reporter, “General, thank you for having me here.” The General replied in his deep voice and broken English while smiling, “Yes, you care for some tea, I imagine long journey. I trust my men give you in safety?” He extended his hand to a worn out tea set that had stains that looked to be decades old. She glanced at the lukewarm tea and as pathetic as it all looked (compared to standards in which she was accustomed), she gladly reached for a cup as she realized that such luxury was never offered to most who lived in these slums. After a sip, she began her long awaited interview. “General, tell us, you’ve been accused of many crimes, in fact, so many that I dare not repeat them during this interview as it would occupy nearly all of my allotted time with you. But, out of these accusations, 3 are top of mind. You’ve been accused of: 1) pirating over $100,000,000,000.00 in food, relief, fuel, weapons, and equipment supply convoys in the Badlands; 2) waging a guerilla war against neighboring warlords causing the deaths of thousands of innocents; and 3) acts of treason and rebelling against Cobra. How do you respond to these accusations?” The General leaned back into his chair and managed a quiet smile. He took a long breath and replied, “Who has right to rule? You? Me? Who has right to judge? Is it government? Is Cobra? Why is Cobra right to rule? Why do they say everything belonging to them, even people? Cobra is just man with guns and bombs. They take what they want, even your life. Even children life. We have guns and bombs too. We take what we need. Cobra is rich, they should give more to the people but they don’t, so we take. If you look at the poor of the Badlands, you see. We work hard, we love family. But Cobra no care, they only take from us. They take more than we can give. And when there is no more to take, they take our children and make them into Cobra soldiers. We pirate, because we were starving. After we take food, we take guns. We learn to make bombs. We learn to fight. We learn how not to be slaves. This is why we pirate. We take to take care of the people. Reporter: “But General, some may say that it is because of your pirating activities that Cobra no longer sends any relief food and medical supplies into Sector 858A for fear that they will be intercepted by your forces and wind up on the black market thereby helping to fund your guerilla war activities. What do you say to that?” General: “Food and medical supplies? They never send that. All the send is some food for soldiers and mostly weapons. They show favor to most ruthless warlord of all, you know him as governor of Sector 858A, the Major Bludd. Yes, we take those weapons and now we are strong. We are strong and now Major Bludd no longer goes into Badland and take from us. We fight for freedom.” Reporter: “Is it freedom you fight for, or money? Many label your Tank Busters as mercenaries. Are you guns for hire? And if so, is there anything you wouldn’t do for money?” General: “Yes, we provide services for money. We need to. Freedom fighting is not cheap and unlike you, we cannot sustain on donations from the listening public. But we do not harm the innocent. We defend the innocent. They hire us, they pay us what they can. If no money, the give food from farms, or join us in fighting the real enemy.” Reporter: “And who is the real enemy General?” General: “You know who, the same persons who robbed humanity of its birthright. They are the same persons who would have us all born into chains; Cobra.” Reporter: “So you regard yourself a rebel freedom fighter then?” General: “The Tank Busters are protectors of the innocent. If the innocent need protection from government, then we are rebels.” Reporter: “Then allow me to ask General . . . what is the most important attribute a rebel must have?” After a long pause, the General leaned back and gazed at the ceiling. He then looked through the crack in the plywood that was still covering the single window from inside that dim room. He was looking at one of his soldiers who stood guard outside the building. The reporter had noticed this particular soldier earlier. This soldier was a woman with wildly unruly hair. Some might even say it was like a crow’s nest. The General quietly smiled again, then smirked to himself and replied softly as his eyes glazed with tears. General: “Amar.” Reporter: “Love?” General: “Si, love. Love for humanity. Love for mankind. Enough that you rather die fighting for fellow man than see them suffer.” The reporter noticed how the General looked at the soldier standing guard outside and asked. Reporter: “General, who is that soldier, the woman standing guard outside?” After snickering at the question, the General replied. General: “We call her Feral. She calls herself Feral Punk. Her story is long one. She came to me when she was only 10 years old. This was maybe I think, 8 years ago.” Reporter: “8 years ago? So this was right about the time you started calling yourself a freedom fighter? Did she have something to do with that? What is her story?” General: “She is baby sister to another soldier, the one we call Bomb Strike. They both came from behind the iron curtain. You see, they escaped the Empire of the Iron Grenadiers.” Reporter: “For those listening who may not know, no one has escaped the lands of Destro since all relations were severed with Cobra and the rest of the world. It has been a closed off society for decades and to this day, we know next to nothing about life from within this paramilitary society. Please General, continue.” General: “Until we found the girls, we only hear rumors; starvation, poverty, enslavement. Conditions worse there than in Cobra borders. The older sister, Bomb Strike, she come to us first when we was only 12 years old. 2 years she wandering through desert to find help. She escaped the lands of Destro alone to find safe passage for baby sister Feral. She abandoned the younger one, Feral when Feral was only 7 years old. Can you imagine? Just children.” Reporter: “Where were their parents?” General: “The girls were homeless. They say there are gangs of homeless children in the streets. When one is caught stealing, and most steal food, the child is arrested and sent to force labor camp. The girls tell us story of starving in streets. Begging for food. No one ever noticed them. But, life on streets made them clever. They are very very clever. They are my most capable soldiers.” Reporter: “So, you were a pirate, and a mercenary before these girls came to you. You were a wildly successful outlaw with spoils to show for it. You could have stayed somewhat quiet and not draw so much attention from Cobra, but after running into these two sisters, you suddenly have a change of heart and declare, in your own way, war against Cobra. How did you convince your men to follow such an unprofitable endeavor?” With a perplexed look, the General leaned forward in his seat and asked: General: “What is en . . . devor?” Reporter: “I’m sorry, endeavor means, attempt, effort, or try.” After a pause, he replied as he knotted his head: General: “When Bombstrike left her sister, Feral was only 7 years old. She was left alone in city. Bombstrike managed to survive journey to here. They were both very young. When I first saw Bombstike, she stole bread from local store. Owner wanted to strike her, but I paid for it. The little girl gave me a look I would never forget. It was as if she had never eaten a thing and this was the first time anyone showed her kindness. She begged me for help. She did not know who I was. But she reminded me of my own daughter who died from plague. She told me she needed to rescue her sister from the lands of Destro. Somehow, little girl found path from lands of Destro to Sector 858A and survived. She knew of a route into the Empire of the Iron Grenadiers that was not well defended. It became our most profitable trade route. But, as my men returned from smuggling runs into the lands of Destro, they came back with horrific stories. There were crimes against humanity I do not wish to repeat. And the thought of Bombstrike’s baby sister still trapped behind the iron curtain haunted me. So we tried to find Feral and smuggle her out. But after over a year of looking, we could not locate the child. Then one day, Bombstrike received a coded message. It simply read, I’m on my way to meet you. We were all concerned. It could be a trap, or just some random message that was intended for someone else. Then one day, a 10 year old little girl came to us. She was wearing a blanket over her body. It was covered in mud, dust, and blood. She had a riffle and she demanded to see her big sister Bombstrike. Bombstrike heard the news and ran to the door to see her sister. Bombstrike screamed out of joy, I can’t beleive it’s you and the she ran to hug her baby sister. Then, suddenly, Feral threw her riffle to the ground and, I will never ever forget this; she slapped her older sister Bombstrike across the face out of anger and screamed, how could you abandom me! HAHHAAHHAA. You see, Bombstrike left her baby sister when she was only 7 years old to find safe passage. But can you imagine being only 7 and having your older sister leave you to fend for yourself? How would anyone do that let alone a 7 year old homeless girl? Then, how would anyone even go about hunting down the person who abandoned them and actually escape the lands of Destro and survive a 2 year journey. Was it love or anger that fueled this child?” The General continued to snicker to himself while shaking his head in disbelief. Reporter: “So, you fight for these girls then? Is it to help them seek some kind of revenge? Perhaps justice? I still don’t understand how these two sisters changed you from a Pirate Mercenary to a Rebel Freedom Fighter.” General: “The stories that they told us about their lives under Destro’s rule was far more than enough to convince any man to fight for his fellow man. Where is it written that the strong can take all they want? Where is it written that the innocent are made to suffer. These girls showed us a will to survive and fight. They are stronger than all of us, and all they want is save others. There is more suffering in the world and their cries for liberty must no longer be ignored. My biggest fear is losing this fight. Reporter: “Because you would fail to save the world?” The General scoffs and replied: General: “No. Fear that I would anger Feral and she would come after me if I failed, hahhahaaha. Feral is who you should be interviewing.” Reporter: “With your permission, may I?” The General replied with his hand gesturing toward the doorway. General: “Please do.” The reporter proceeded to step outside to greet this mysterious fem fatale they call Feral, or Feral Punk and she preferred. Once outside, the reporter looked upon this soldier from head to toe. Feral seemed to have a face graced with the kindness to likes of Jesus Christ, but with the steely eyes of Satan and hair styled by a crow. The reporter asked Feral: Reporter: “The General has granted me permission to interview you. May I? I have so many questions: how did you survive on your own in the lands of Destro as a 7 year old homeless child? How did you escape? How did you find your sister? How did you survive the journey through Sector 858A? Where did a 10 year old girl find a riffle? What has it been like fighting under General Salazar for the past 8 years?” Without hesitation, Feral Punk replied: Feral: “No.” It was at this moment that the interview came to an abrupt end. Word that King Mighty Destro’s forces had landed reached the Tank Busters. Reports were coming in that the mighty air ship, the Iron Grenadiers Ship (IGS) Bahamut, the largest air battle cruiser ever constructed, was now in Sector 858A and on a collision course with Cobra forces defending Prometheus. The Tank Busters were scrambling. At any moment, they could come under attack and the reporter addressed the listening audience: Reporter: “The interview came to an abrupt end. I was told that at any moment, artillery shells could be raining down on us. I was rushed away to a hover car that would take me to safety. As we sped away, I looked back at the dusty trail in our wake and see Feral preparing her weapons with the serious demeanor on her face. As we pulled further and further away, Feral looked up at me. We made eye contact. I will never forget her steely eyes. They will undoubtedly haunt me as this war rages on and we all hear news of fallen soldiers who were fighting for our freedom. For NPR and Twenty Questions, this is Reporter 158 signing off.”

A tribute, No. A custom, no. A thread dedicated as a tribute to a custom, by a customizer. In which said tribute comes in the form of a custom of said custom in reduced scale? Yeah, I can dig it.
