Hi everyone, I just thought I'd share a LRRP Snake Eyes that I finished recently. After the assassin custom that I finished, I wanted to do something a little less labor-intensive. As it happens, this project jumped out at me. No painting involved in this one, just some simple parts-swapping.
Recipe: Head - $Gen. Duke Torso - 25th Rock 'n Roll Legs - Arctic Snake Eyes Accs. - Just some that I chose out of my pile 'o custom-fodder. |

Overall really nice. The oversized ammo belt on the M-60 is distracting me though. I wish Hasbro would just release an accessory pack with things like ammo belts, sand bags, etc...

Thanks all! Carden, I agree that the M-60 ammo belt is big, but seeing as it is meant to interact with the gun, I felt that I needed to include it. I may not always display him with it though, so thank God they made it removable, lol.

The Hawk head was a great choice.

Thanks for the kind words, all! I would love for them to do a modern-era LRRP 2 or 3 pack, but since they haven't yet, I had to take matters into my own hands! I'm working on Tommy now, but am really having trouble finding a good head to use.
I bought one of those Action Force (or whatever they're called) figures from Wal-Mart of a miliatry samurai, and have done a lot of work to the head. It's still not great, but it's looking less and less like Steven Segal, so I'm in the right direction. Similarly, I had an extra Budo that I've given a shave to (stripping off the beard with a Dremel and sandpaper), but it just doesn't quite fit the Tommy-as-seen-in-issue #26 figure. Any suggestions? |
