It's been a very long time since I posted a new custom... no inspiration and really busy.
But, here's Vandoos The Royal 22nd Regiment, in French and officially (in both French and English usage) Royal 22e Régiment and colloquially The VanDoos (an anglicized pronunciation of the word twenty-two, vingt-deux, "22" in French), is an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army. The mostly francophone regiment comprises three Regular Force battalions, two Primary Reserve battalions, and a band, making it the largest regiment in the Canadian Army and the largest francophone regiment in America. Never heard of the the 22nd till now, but awesome. What if...you threw on RET or 50th An. Beachhead 's chest rig...? Just thinking outside the box. And nice custom. I do like it.

Nice job! Wasn't expecting them in their scarlets, though. Personally, if I was going to depict a Canadian unit like that, I'd pick Ottawa's Ceremonial Guard, but that's just me.
Sadly, I think even most English-speaking Canadians wouldn't have, either. Most Canadians are notoriously ignorant of their own military... But I will tell you that within military circles, the Vandoos are somewhat... infamous, maybe? In a good way.

I had the pleasure of working with several Vandoos, most notably my section sergeant while in IAP/BOTC (officer boot camp, for our US friends). They were superb... but a little crazy, too.
