I just know I missed a few great customs on this board, so I started this thread for u guys to post (by LINK only not just pic) what u think to be a "the best" and or "the nicest" customs u ever seen on this hisstank. Even if u may not have liked it and think someone else will post it. Even something like "wow only if hasbro made that!" It Can be more then one if u want. It can be yours or someone elses. But it had to be posted here on Hisstank (only) on or before the date of this thread.
One of the ideas behind this is that all the newer members can get a chance to see the older stuff they never got to see before. The older the better. Wit the mark now at 10,000 members there also is a few customs I'm sure deserve more comments. 2 pages of comment wth? 4 plus em!!!! Last thing feel free to go wayyyyy back and even post on these links to bring them back to life! |

Going by the responses in the Customs section, that's every custom ever posted here.
"Nice work!" "Good job!" "Excellent work, man!" |

Here's a couple that really SHOULD have been front paged:
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ms-zarana.html http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-badgumbo.html And I think just about all of babyjelly's customs are fantastic! |

This custom of Wet Suit is the reason I ever found Hisstank in the first place.
Custom 25th Anniversary Wet Suit! - GI Joe News Here is another short lived but awesome one. I wanted to make one of these for the contest. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-r-comics.html

I second Amaro's "Serpent O.R." and Badgumbo's work. Also, as mentioned before, Novascream's Zarana should be front-paged.
I'm a big fan of anything that Mad Joe Customizer does, and Alyosha too. They provide a great wealth to the customizing community by offering their sculpting prowess. Who cares if it's at a price, sculpting and casting isn't cheap, fellas. And it's well worth their time, if you ask me. Mad Joe: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/search...archid=1000912 Alyosha: (too many to list, here's his threads) http://www.hisstank.com/forum/search...archid=1000917 Also, TTT and madcrazyloco, GI Eddie, and too many others to name off the top of my head have made some pretty "definitive" versions of figures. TTT has too many battle damaged B.A.T.s to list, but they're always awesome, and his gritty washes really make the figures look more like sculptures than toys. Here's one that got front-paged: http://www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/...aged-bat-7592/ Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 04-30-2009 at 04:02 PM.. |

Not wanting to toe tread but is this thread truely about great customs or self gratification/biggest posse to promote the work?
You see threads like this from time to time (not saying this Is one of those),that are truely ego boost threads only. I`m all for truely talented customizers being recognised. As this week has shown with RiverSpoons Resolute Snake Eyes,Doc`s & CobraCollectors version too. Along with Babyjelly`s work with Action Force customs,Garvy & certainly Ford Prefect also. Oh there are many more but these are some I`d single out as truely talented customizers in everyway. From creativeness to execution of the customs,be they sanded, sculpted to scratch built. As said I just don`t want to see another "Rah Rah My work" or "Rah Rah my best friends work". Let it be truely about the Talented people ONLY. |

As far as I can see Panzer, it is about the talented people only. TTT, Alyosha, Badgumbo, Kalibus are some of the best customizers around, and none of them have mentioned their own stuff. And while MandingoRex didn't "rah rah" everyone but himself, his work is great too.
