Pictures removed in reason of new post and limits for pictures!
Currently I am reading a SF novel by the author Turtledove. It is about an alien invasion in the middle of WW II. I did not produce a WWII environment but a diorama of the extinction of humans by aliens. The following pictures show a 5 meters large, 50- 70 cm deep and 50 cm high diorama. The scenario shows the last humans being chased by aliens into the abandoned facilities of a laboratory where they make their last stand. The humans total 75; however 64 of them are already killed. The aliens and robots total 125, most of the alive or working, respectively. Attached a selection of pictures. The complete set of almost 120 pictures is spread over four posts on my website Dioramas 1:18 Alternatively, the pictures can be seen here: The Last Of Our Kind Photos by Klausmerkel | Photobucket Last edited by klausbrazil; 06-25-2014 at 02:38 PM.. I like it, it just needs backgrounds. At fish and aquarium stores they sell background sheets for fish-tanks. Usually plants and sometimes Roman ruins.
I have a roll that is double sided with different prints, these are great for filling in backgrounds. |

I love toys too. That is one massive impressive collection. You must have so much fun posing them all the time.

You are right, but I will not use sheets for fish tanks. Most likely they are very expensive in Brazil. Instead, currently I am making some walls of damaged concrete buildings. Probably I also will put some more artificial plants.

I am in the process of adding things in order to fill the background. Attached two pictures, one showing a destroyed house and one a kind of junkyard version of the AT-RT.
