Not overly impressed with the FSS 1.0 Covergirl (and the accompanying after market price), I've been wanting to make my own for a while now. I've had most of the parts I wanted to use gathered but was stuck as to what body to use. A couple weeks ago I saw a Covergirl custom done by fellow tanker CountDrunkula...you can see his cool and inspired custom here
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...rl-modern.html Anyway, here's my take on a slightly updated Covergirl. C & C always welcome. Recipe: head - Avengers Assemble Black Widow body & arms - ROC Paris Pursuit Baroness hands - Resolute Scarlet legs - ROC Agent Helix shoulder holster, belt & pistol - 25th General Hawk |

Clever use of the Baroness' torso. Negates having to find a separate jacket like my sorry behind had to do.

Credit for the Baroness torso goes to CountDrunkula. When I saw his Covergirl I thought to myself "The use of that Baroness torso is pure genius"...I had to steal his idea.

I'm a little surprised that the base recipe works this well using more detail-heavy parts than mine did, but your version is awesome. And isn't it great how the Hawk belt fills that waist gap in? Like it was made for it!

If not genius, then definitely inspiring. I forgot to give you credit for the belt. I was originally going to use the DVD pack Lady Jaye belt, but it did nothing to fill the gap and made the figure look odd at the waist, soooo...I used your idea instead. That belt just fits so well!
