I made the wedding cake toppers for my wedding cake. My buddy and his then fiancee were guests at our reception and after seeing our cake asked me to make their wedding cake toppers. I gladly accepted the challenge, and a challenge they they were, his was actually pretty simple with super minimal sculpting (shirt collar and hair), while her figure was the most challenging I've done to date. Her dress is all sculpted, custom painted, and then covered in a layer of fine lace.
They LOVED them. Which made me incredibly happy. So now I am sharing them here. The Bride and Groom The Bride They requested that the bride be able to body slam the groom. I sent her this pic (he wasn't allowed to see what her dress was going to look like) and she approved with joy. Sadly I didn't get any pics of the figures on the cake, so I'm collecting the pics posted on facebook, this was the first. Sorry that it is blurry. |

Good effort. For my wedding I just head swapped. A headman body and long arm head for me. A o ring comic pack Scarlett with comic pack cover girl head. Her friend made a skirt for the dress part.

The Groom is a great figure, simple yet very well done. But that bride is amazing ... that has to be one of the best and most creative customs I have EVER seen on this site. The idea, sculpting, paint, LACE, I mean .. hats off to you man, this one truly blew me away.

As for the bride. Thank you. She was a pain to make but the Bride's face seeing it made all that hard work worth while. The lace was a pain but I needed to try and get it as close to her actual dress as possible. And there is a full can of spray paint on the dress under the lace, I sprayed then sanded several times to make sure it was smooth and clean. I had a lot of fun making these, even if the bride was incredibly challenging. I've already got another upcoming commission for another set of wedding cake toppers. I almost said "no" because of how much time I put into them. |

also, if you do any more of these, you're going to need to open a specialty store, and charge a ton ;) When you get your reality show based on it, let me know if you need any help.
