This is my second Gator custom, The first one was a VAMP cross over. I personally prefer the VAMP version but I was pleased with the way this one came out.
If you missed my first Vamp Gator here is a link to that thread. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ne-dremel.html The figure has a permanent helmet. No removable mask for Dusty in this case. My excuse is that I make vehicles not figures LOL The figure is just an extra because I was feeling froggy.

While I am a fan of the Vamp design, I really like the classic Jeep look. This is really nice looking and the monster truck tires are a nice touch. We need more MASK inn 4" scale!!!!

Thanks, but thank New Bright RC they supplied the body. It was not perfect (wrong kind of plastic) but a lot better then dealing with Diecast. Unfortunately it appeared that Wal-Mart isn't restocking the $20 size of this RC body. Not sure if New Bright stopped producing it or if Wal-Mart just isnt carrying it. They make this basic body in several different scales. In fact it is the same body just in a smaller scale that I used for the Troop transport. The Jeep used for the Troop transport was probably closer to 1/14 scale. But the same mold essentially.

Should also say that the larger one used good plastic so I was surprised to see the smaller one did not use the same plastic. Very bummed but I got past it.
