When you say "heavily modify" what exactly do you mean? Would you mind explaining the exact process you used? If I could get MU arms to work with Joe figures that would open up a whole new world of custom possibilities for me.

I don't know if MU figs are the same as Star Wars, but I recently used Mara Jade arms. Of course, the peg is much smaller. What I did was buy Styrene tubes (several loooong tubes for about $3.50). I can't remember the exact inner diameter because I'm not at home but I'll try to post it when I get off work. I cut off a small sliver, then fit it over the shoulder peg and glued it in place. It fit like a charm and fits in the torso well.
