Hello brother tankers, I am trying out this new printed accessory
for the B.A.T. Initially designed as a crazy and exaggerated infantry weapon that only could be used by an android. I feel that the weapon needs to have a smaller version so this is just the prototype. I added for fun some extra fodder and cables to give it an even more outrageous look, something inspired by The Hellsing ARMS Anti-Midian Cannon, 'The Harkonnen II'. A friend suggested that this would be a MARS industry weapon that Destro would use to guard his castle. Instead of Gargoyles warding the place, B.A.T's would stand on the roof equipped with these things, ready to take invaders out. Another friend also mentioned designing some feet supports that would clip on the figure's legs and then clamp on the ground to strengthen the BAT's ability to withstand the recoil. Talk of making an alternate Gargoyle head for the B.A.T was also discussed. Feedback and ideas are always welcome. Thank you so much for viewing. Last edited by phantro; 04-15-2014 at 09:11 PM.. |

That looks sweet. It reminds me the image of Arnold wielding that minigun at cyberdyne systems.

It's totally awesome, but I think you're right: A little bit smaller would be better. As it stands it seems unwieldy even for an android.
On a related note: I would totally buy one, as well as other similarly themed "large" weapons as BAT attachments. Or even smaller ones (I was a big fan of the sword attachment the New-Sculpt era BATs had). |

That would make an awesome vehicle gun. Wish I had a 3D printer, I can not justify paying the price it costs to have it printed via mail away.

I cannot wait until 3D printers drop in cost.....
It looks amazing BTW. Sure, smaller may be better but not as fun for effect.

The arm cannon is a bit oversized... but it's held by a robot not limited by human capacities. If anything, I'd push the robot element more and give the arm cannon insect-like support legs.
As is, it still looks awesome. |

Amazing Phantro. A smaller one will be equally cool, but I do dig this as a massive sniper bat alternative.

yeah, not sure about the insect like, but if you put a bipod that kicked down behind it to support the recoil.
I have no problem with the BAT being able to carry the huge gun but I think that the rapid fire kick would set him on his butt. Not enough weight to absorb the recoil.
