I took new pics with flash and cropped slightly bigger. Of course now I see a few things I missed before,
like...eye brows off and some brown on the sleeves (arm meets sleeve)and I should have painted inside the helmet. Ill work on that but for now here ya go I gave him short sleeves to show some skin. parts are head, torso-30th trooper arms- renegade trooper ( I think I used Ripcords lower arms and Dukes hands) legs- 30th Firefly Thanks to for input!

This looks pretty good man
I would fiddle a little bit with the lighting of your photo shoots to enhance the picture. Even so I can see the nice weathering apps on the clothing. Lots of potential goodness here I would probably buy a few of these on retail. May I ask what kind of device are you using for the pictures? |

I love doing a custom but I dread when its time to take the photos. I never can quite get what Im seeing in person on the screen!
Its a hit or miss for me. I think Im gonna go with a white back ground on future pics. well see, fingers crossed. thanks for the input!

Wait for a really sunny day outside then go under the shade of a tree. Place the figure on a chair and set up a black or white background. Set your device to macro function (it has a small flower) hold your camera really steady as you take a picture (holding your breath helps believe it or not) and see if it makes any difference. I hope this helps bro |

Nice concept. My problem with it is that the facial features and hair look like a white guy. Is there not an African American head you could substitute here?

Very nice work! I wish Hasbro would've done some like this.

I totally agree that adding ethnic variety to Cobra is good for army building. I'm not sure that there are many non caucasian Cobras from the original run, aside from SS.
