Thanks everybody for the positive response. One question though...
Should I put together some sort of back story for these? It seems that on another forum (fighting 1:18) a couple of posts have been made about the subject being to busy. That it would be impractical for it being a maintenance nightmare. I was a little taken back by this. If you don't like something, that's fine. Don't comment. If it's not your gig, but you want to give it props, then by all means. But to criticize someone's imagination? Seems kinda weird to me. I spent a bit of coin and a lot of time on this. Alot of it was learning as I go, and there's no part that was added for no reason. It all has a purpose. Just like in the other 2 walkers. So I was wondering if a back story would help. To help folks understand. Because I don't like having to explain myself, or justify what I made. |

Shark- you have to take peoples input as just that input. A basic critique. You can either defend your build, make changes or blow the commenter off totally.
In todays battlefield I think everything is a maintenance nightmare I can only imagine that by the time we have Mechs that the amount of complexities of military is going to have increased exponentially so I would say that critique does not hold water. Heck by that time we will likely have maintenance bots to keep all of that working.

Heck by that time we will likely have maintenance bots to keep all of that working. Like for instance, in this world. Be it here or another planet and in the future. It's not far removed from Mad Max. In that visioned future, nothing is simple. It's all gaudy, over done and nothing is wasted. Thanks, for caring enough to comment. In the end I just blew it off as a comment without merit. |
