This one's been done for a while, but I'm just now taking pictures of it. I took the head and pack off my 25th Dial-Tone custom, so this is another case of retiring an older custom, I guess. I'll probably not get around to replacing them.
The primary mod here is with the neck/collar, which I cut off of a 25th Scrap-Iron figure (the Heetseek one) and put on a 30th Steel Brigade torso that had the neck region removed. Any discrepancy in the alignment of the parts was covered by a thin bit of green stuff that served as the sweater collar. I wanted to convey the look of a sweater vest over top of his shirt. I went with the original figure design by using an ARAH backpack. I've been doing this more lately instead of trying to "modernize" the character, even though I didn't go with his original weapon. I added a couple of silver pieces to look sort of similar to the original figure. Parts: - head: ROC Sgt. Stone with added 'stache - torso: 30th Steel Brigade + 25th Mutt collar (actually came from Scrap-Iron here) - arms: POC Shock Trooper - legs: POC Beachhead - harness: 30th Stalker (taken from BBTS Spirit in this case) with 2 grenades added - pack: ARAH Dial-Tone, modded to fit

Nice! How did you pull off the collar transplant?

If you lack a ring, one is provided for you in another room, in a treasure chest filled with poisonous vipers. |

Wow. I was wondering how you did the sweater vest. That's crazy. I just finished my Dial Tone custom and am now afraid to put it up. LOL
