I cut the collar and neck off a different torso, making a V-shape in the front. Then I cut the same shape into a Steel Brigade torso, going a little smaller in the front so I could trim it back to right place. I also made sure the collar part was a little bigger along the sides and back than the corresponding hole on the torso so it would stick out over the sweater just a little. This had the added benefit of covering up the seam where I glued them together. For the V-shaped seam in the front, I covered with a little green stuff sculpting to serve as the trim around the neck hole of the sweater.

This looks great! I did almost the exact same collar mod for my Dialtone. I used the collar from an Indiana Jones figure and just applied it over a Steel Brigade torso. I sanded down the neck to remove the sweater collar and used Greenstuff to make a new v neck collar. I am kind of amazed that someone else did basically the same thing. I would post pics of mine but it would only pale by comparison. Excellent work as always !
