AT Universal Heavy Transport
This is my first Joe custom completed for my sons first birthday. What Tonka's lack is real action figure playability. With that in mind I got to work. A cab was created to seat two figures and a trailer was fabricated to mount multiple vehicles. Last edited by Squashfest; 02-12-2018 at 01:30 PM.. |

Started with your basic Tonka truck from the 80's and vinyl fence scraps. Cab was created from the vinyl along with a pair of seats. The trailer was made from the same vinyl scraps cut and glued up.
The boy loves dragging it around. Thanks for the comments. |

Wasn't sure where the sub was from, but knew it would work. The seat was poorly sized and spaced, so it was cut and a simple scrap riveted in. Now it's perfect for Joe's.

Love it. I have one of those subs. I have eventual plans of building it into one of those bubble helicopters.

I actually have one of those subs myself, disassembled and sitting in storage down in Texas waiting for me to move into a house up here in Wisconsin so I can finish my custom. I had intended on trimming the seat so it sat back further. Are you saying that won't work?
