Not a perfect technic...but hope it will help out a lot of guys overhere. If it will work well with the vests - it would be awsome. I saw how Obi-Shinobi uses the 30th Steel Brigade vests as the main part, and glue copied pouches all over it...making every vest different from the other one. If this method will work for that...I hope it will give everyone an opportunity to make more customs. I''ll be honest....the first idea was to made vests and pouches from different material...like many great guys doing it from lego-sails or like Rick from hockeytape. So..anyway - we'll see how I can achive this =) Thx. I just want to show...that sometimes the ïmperfections" can be helpfull. If it won't be a succesfull copy...with a little creative imagination can be turned into something useful. =) |

I think hot glue might cast better and quicker
I had some pouches made a while back and they looked really good. |

In other words - you do a totally new vest. Wich can be copied like the others too. I think it won't be any problems to cast your 3D printed vest at all. The questions is...what shoould be used as a casting material. I'll try out different methods and mixes...and than post here the best one) Quote:
Well...I definetly will try it....but I need to get a glue gun first. Never worked with hot glue...I specialized more in epoxy stuff =) But thx anyway for the tip. Thank you =) |
