This character appeared in just one panel. I was sure he'd pop up in later issues, but he never did...

Excellent work on that custom figure.
You just gave me an idea. This unused comic character bears a strong resemblance to the Black Dragon leader, Mr. Sebastian Gorman (CEO of Terron Industries)... as presented in 12 inch scale at the 2013 GI Joe convention. Using parts from the recent Ultimate Cobra Commander figure, and a new head sculpt from Boss Fight, a really nice GIJCC figure could come of this, if members so petitioned the Club. |

Great figure. I'd forgotten about him.
And yeah, he does resemble Gorman.

I always imagined he was Interrogator before he put on the mask. Cobra Commander's most trusted communications commander from the very beginning. Even before the Televipers. Nice work. That is issue #1 right.

Thanks, all!
Issue #1 has really stood the test of time. Such good stuff. A solid story with great characterizations, a dose of humor, but without a self-important tone. As good today as it was three decades ago. The bald guy seemed like he'd pop up, and there are certainly options that could have been played. Who knows, maybe Hama will bring him back into the fold... |

Great custom! I'd like to see just a simple explanation of who he was. Maybe a throw away line to a former member of Cobra who was killed or imprisoned and never heard from again.
