Just some bumpage... we've updated a couple of pictures in the first post showing what the figure looks like (and what poses it can achieve) without the fast rope harness. While the harness looks good on him, it does limit the range of movement at the hip, which sort of defeats some of the purpose of going with the very well articulated Torpedo base body.

Sorry. Didn't mean to take this off topic. Your custom deserves all the attentiion it gets. I'm still in awe of that handle wrapping. |

Thanks, Snake Eyes-Joe Ninja.

I plan to make the sword as a single piece, with a cord wrapped handle. I'm currently debating between no guard, Resolute style, or simple protusion just above the wrapped section, sort of like the assassin's sword from Serenity with an even simpler handle wrapping. I may just make one of each. to keep myself from going crazy.

I made the image in Photoshop, mostly by airbrushing and manipulating pre-existing digital textures (along with some digital painting) over Spigou's original concept sketch. I have a whole thread devoted to the process of making this particular card. Perfect timing on the question too, since I've just finished making an updated image based on the figure (the original card art was made well before the custom was finished, so some details didn't match up then... this new image is a closer rendition of the figure): Snake-Eyes "clean" art Snake-Eyes card art and filecard (click on the thumbnails to view the full-sized images) Thanks guys! |

Thanks, Kalibus. No blade or gun is gonna stay stuck on a body part (not even SE's forearm arrow/dart/mini-rocket thing ) - That's what Zulu and I aim for in a custom.
Thanks, CobraRebellion. Glad u like that feature. Quote:
