Shockwave/Shockblast is my favorite GI Joe character of all-time, and in the past I had an army of 1992 DEF Shockwaves, which I sold with my collection in the past. After getting a taste of the 25th Anniversary line, I decided to make a custom army of Shockwaves. Thanks to the help of Hisstankers like Alyosha, MjJoe4Life, and Novirasputin, I've been able to do just that. The first three photos show shots of my army of 10(11 if you count the ARAH Shockwave).
The first one I want to present is Shockwave A-Hasbro's first 25th Anniversary release. His loose belt presented an annoying problem to me, so I replaced it with Air Raid's belt and repainted it. I also followed a couple of customizers on this site by modifying the peg on a 1988 Shockwave backpack to properly fit. What I like most about this figure is his likeness towards the RAH version. The second one is Shockwave B-Hasbro's second release for the Rise of COBRA line. I wish I remembered which belt I used but I completely forgot. What I like most about this figure is that he's cheaper to get than the original RAH NF figure, but also has cool additional camouflage. The third one is Shockwave C-which is actually the FSS Wide Scope. I changed his head for a Battle Armor COBRA Commander unmasked head, which I feel would help make him look more like Shockwave than Wide Scope. What I like most about this figure is even though he's supposed to be Wide Scope a simple head change can make him look more like Shockwave and he looks much better than Hasbro's offerings. I'm going to attach on the post below for the other Shockwave customs since I can't fit the other attachments here.

Since I couldn't fit all the photos I wanted in the first post, i'm going to attach the rest of them to this one instead.
Fourth one is Shockwave D-Drug Elimination Force Shockwave. I tried to make this figure as close to the 1992 RAH version as I could, down to the details with the holsters(both on his vest and on his left leg). What I like most about this version is the fact he has a removable helmet, so you can see the man behind the mask and it required the most modifications. Fifth one is Shockwave E-Alyosha's creation with a removable cap. I repainted over the yellow camouflage to make it blue instead, plus I added some gray camouflage as well. What I like most about this version is that he looks somewhat like the RAH version, but as an awesome update, plus I think he's one of the more versatile figures when it comes to firing poses and being able to hold two guns at once realistically. Sixth one is Shockwave F-Winter Operations. While it may seem odd for a S.W.A.T. specialist to be sent out in the freezing cold, it might be useful for him to have this suit if he does have to be sent to an extreme conditions mission. Formula: Head: Retaliation 3-pack Kamakura Body: ROC Ice-Viper What I like most about this version is that he can be used for winter operations, in spite of how limited that function is...lol. Seventh one is Shockwave G-a combination of the Resolute comic and his GI Joe Battleground trading card art. I liked both how bad-ass he looked battling Destro in the Resolute comic and in the Battleground trading card art, so it inspired me to make this creation. Formula: Head: Retaliation 3-pack Beach-Head Body: TRU 5-pack Firefly Vest: POC Beach-Head Cap: JvC Gung-Ho or NF Gung-Ho(can't remember which) What I like most about this version is that the heavy armor makes him look even more equipped and protected from bullets. Eighth one is Shockwave H-Alyosha's other creation, except his cap is not removable. Originally he had a blue mask but I repainted it black because it looked too much alike compared to Shockwave E. What I like most about this one is that he looks like Shockwave version E, only slightly stealthier due to the black paint apps. Ninth one is Shockwave I-a single pack blue Firefly with a different head. I saw from some of the reviews on the single pack blue Firefly that he could be used to make a Wide Scope or Shockwave custom, so naturally I took their advice and made one. Body: single pack blue Firefly repaint Head: 25th Anniversary Para-Viper Helmet: Shockblast Vest: Shockblast And finally there's Shockwave J-Sigma Six style. I don't remember who made this particular one for me but while it's unfortunate I can't turn his head around unless I pry it off and then super-glue it back on, I still think it's cool that he looks like the Sigma 6 version. Body: comic pack Firefly Head: modified Sgt. Hacker from Spytroops Cap: not sure vest: ROC Pit Commando What I like most about this one is that he looks different from all the other Shockwave customs and could be an EOD version. Feel free to vote which version you think would represent the "ultimate" Shockwave!

I like the DEF version. I always was partial to that one. The one you made is a great update.

I like B's color the best, but have never been fond of how big the holsters on those legs are. So H is the winner for me, but I think he needs a shield (as any respectable Shock would have).
