The Drug Elimination Force(D.E.F.) version of Shockwave for the ARAH line was one of the most underrated figures not only of Shockwave but in the GI Joe line itself. I wanted to make my own ME version that would be a presentable update, even if it's not 100% accurate compared to the original. I felt using Agent Mouse's head was a great choice because of the unique way his hair was parted and because it was one of a few within my collection that could still fit under the 1992 DEF Shockwave's helmet. I chose the Resolute COBRA Trooper's body because the color scheme was a light blue(well technically blue-gray, but it still looks better compared with the original's scheme) and because the Resolute Trooper's vest fits well on top. The pistols are removable but fall off easily if I tip the figure over too much.
Head: Agent Mouse Helmet: ARAH DEF 1992 Shockwave Body: Resolute COBRA Trooper(blue) Gun: Retaliation Flint's or POC Beach-Head's Vest: Resolute COBRA Trooper's, modified Flashbang on vest: Comic Pack Scarlett (came with Hawk) that was super-glued Holster on vest: Not sure but also super-glued Belt: ROC Elite Viper, super-glued Holster on left leg: ROC Elite Viper, modified and super-glued Band on right leg: black sculpting clay Note: Due to the flash on my camera, some parts of the figure were shined on. I took a sixth photo turning off the flash to try to show how the figure looks like without the shine(though part of it got retained on the vest). Hope you like this custom as much as I do...

All of DEF and The Headhunters were underrated. Good job.

Thanks, and I couldn't agree with you more! I got into collecting GI Joes late, and the DEF Shockwave was one of the first figures I ever brought for my collection.

Very nice figure.
I never understand why some figures need to carry two pistols, though. Is that the Wild West gunfighter legacy? |

Thanks for all your comments! I plan on setting up a group photo of all the Shockwaves I have(both customs and releases from Hasbro) sometime after New Year's.
