The only WWII/GI Joe action you'll get this year!
(That is a completely unfounded statement, but sounded good) Check out the animated comic Cobra Axis Power in the thread below to see all the action! http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ustom-ttt.html But this thread is about the customs. So here's a WWII Viper. These guys are taken from the ranks of Mussolini's Blackshirts. Recipe: Resolute trooper body, head Firefly arms (without coat) Star wars comic pack trenchoat guy arms for the trench arms 21st Century toys standard German trenchcoat and helmet Firefly knees ( i think, can't remember) Here's Colonel Colblud: Recipe: Maj. Bludd head Hellboy figure arms (can't remember what character) Star Wars comic pack trenchcoat Maj. Bludd body for the Eyepiece, i cut the lens off of a Snake Eyes v5 headmount night vision goggle and greenstuffed the wiring. I filled the lens with clear gloss for the shine. Hope you guys watch the video to enjoy these characters doing maximum damage to the Nazis!

I really like the concept of this. Reminds me of some of the themes I've seen the elite Marvel Legends customizers do, like making Star Wars characters into WWII era figures. Except doing this with Joes or Cobras is a much more natural fit.

I first started WW2 customs in Oct. Then someone mentioned a Joe/TF WW2 crossover comic drawn by Jae Lee. So I looked it up and thought "how cool would this be without transformers?" And that's one reason Cobra Axis Power was born!

Very cool! I really like Colonel Colblud. He looks the part, on stage(your comic) or not, of one mean mofo.
