Hello everyone,
These forums have convinced me to create some customs. This will be my first attempt ever at creating a custom and I'm really excited. That said, are there any other methods to hollow out a RAH head other than using power tools(dremmel). It’s hard to justify to the wife to buy a dremmel just for hollowing out some joe’s heads. Thank you |

They're not that expensive. Got mine in a 50 piece kit for under $20 a few years ago. It's non-brand name one, but hasn't failed me yet.

I use a curved Xacto. It's usually usaed for woodcarving. It almost has a spoon type edge. Works great, but you have to be patient and careful with small things.

I have a drill bit set which I use to drill the heads out. I do it by hand. The new heads are softer which makes it easier. I use and exacto knife to smooth out the rest.
