So I've been rereading the original Marvel Joe comics recently and got to the Snake Eyes Origins story thread in issues 26 and 27. As anyone who has read these issues knows, Snakes, Stormy and Stalker were in the Long Range Recon Patrol together in Vietnam. Well if we go by that story, they'll all be in the 60's by now so I decided to give them an update to bring that original back story into the present. I picture them all as part of the Army Special Forces in Afghanistan running covert ops behind enemy lines. I also gave them the non-uniformed look many of the SF guys go with. I couldn't bring myself to give them beards though, LOL. Anyway, let me know what you think of them.

Cool idea. I like that camo pattern on Stalker's pants.

These turned out great.
I like that you updated them to present time, for this generation of Joe Collectors.

Thanks guys. I tried to keep at least one or two aspects of the original version in the update. Snake Eyes has his boonie hat and machine gun, although I updated the M-60 to the SAW. Storm Shadow kept his tank top look with forearm wraps and of course the bow and arrows. Stalker only really got his M-16 with Starlight scope updated to an M-4 with Night Vision scope. Maybe if I get the right parts, I'll also update Wade Collins, Ramon Escobedo and Dickey Sapperstein.

I really, really like this and have always had mad respect for that particular slice in time for those Joes. Well done and artfully done.
