Just catching up on some customs that hit Facebook but not here.
The attached pic and this one are two different versions of my son (one for each of us). They just don't make versatile and articulated figures of kids. I used schleich statue torsos (heavily modified) for each. The hips are from Bilbo so they have complete artic. As for the Adventure Team, I know everyone is doing it. I started on mine years ago, but then got distracted, so I am re-building it. Here is AT Commander Joe Colton, Jr. (Jr. so that the original can exist in his traditional historical time slot.), and his kid sister Jane.

More AT -
I usually go for realism over production toy (which also explains the beat up 8 wheeler in the background), lol Also my Steeler, which I might have shown in an earlier state. I updated the head and helmet. Also shown is an arctic version I made for a prior Custom Con (in the 2nd pic, I had not yet removed the codpiece)

Thank you! I think it's fair to say that your run of Adventure Team work has gone a long way towards sparking the current rush. And further that your work on the 3D side of that continues to set it apart.

Really nice work! I love the figures and the 8 wheeler. The figure of your son is just awesome! Thank goodness for the Hobbit line so we can make some decent younger characters.

Humbling work, man. That child is perfect! As you say, they simply don't produce toys of kids (which is a huge missed opportunity, it seems to me); I wish there was a whole series of them.
Your Joe Colton, Jr. and sis are fantastic, too, as is the vehicle! |

thanks guys! It seems like I don't get so many replies here anymore since changing my name from Knighthawk to Dr. Bindy, but I have to say, this thread more than makes up for it with 3 Adventure Team gurus chiming in!
