Just off Cobras assembly line is the Crimson Howler. This is Cobras new anti-aircraft tank, armed to the teeth with 18 stinger missiles. It also has two .50 caliber machine guns up front. The Howler gets it's name from the sound of the missiles. Only the elite Crimson Guards get to operate these tanks.
Just wanted to update the Crimson look, with a more modern looking red, it's called crimson metallic. The Howler is based off the Persuader Tank, I added the treads and missile rack from the Wolverine. Removing the front bumper and adding a custom grill gave it a really different look, more like the original Hiss Tank. I have at least 4 more of these custom coming eventually. Another winner! You're building up an impressive armory for Cobra. I'd like to see a group shot of all your customs side by side, motor pool style.

Brother in my book you are the vehicle guru. bringing new flavor to old school Joe and Cobra vehicles. Like making a new dish with the same ingredients.

This is now one of my favorites of your work. Love that firepower. I don't know how you put out this kind of work in such quantity.

I've been building a lot lately cause the weather has been so nice. I do all my painting outside, so when winter comes I will really slow down. Also when I build something I usually do it from start to finish without stopping. This tank took me 6 hours not including drying time. Most of my customs are simple to make, but not so simple to think up, that takes forever. Fortunately I've got lots of ideas stored in my head. That being said this Tank worked out really great, I LOVE IT.

Very nice. If I happen upon a Persuader then you have persuaded me to put tracks on it.
Production wise we are very different. I rarely do a vehicle straight through. I usually have 6 vehicles in the works at all times. Usually 3 in advance production and 3 in early stages (and piles of mental plans) Sometimes a vehicle will sit in advance production for months while other vehicles progress and get finished around it. I work largely by the seat of my pants. Heck sometimes a vehicle will sit essentially done for weeks while I ponder what it is missing. Then all of a sudden it will hit me and I will add that final tweak and know it is done. |

i second this emotion. And LOVE this thing, great application of an auto paint. And I also usually do my vehicle customs in one manic session. |
