I don't know why you would think to do this, but it looks pretty cool. It won't strike fear into any enemies itself, but the one's left over will be afraid since they can't tell what in the world it is or find it after it's landed. Just remember where you parked it or you'll be trying to climb into every tree you find.

He wrapped it with the same stuff they use on vehicle vinyl wraps, so: vinyl.
I think it's a pretty cool way to "repaint" a vehicle. I'd be interested to see other patterns like digital camo or maybe just some solid colors. In theory, since these are printed it's possible to design anything you would want to put on... Like repainting it and applying decals at the same time. Might be kind of expensive and time consuming to do it that way because you have to design each section exactly where it's supposed to go on the vehicle and unless you have a CAD file of what you're intending to wrap... Easier to just use left over stuff from other wrap jobs. I'd like to see a VAMP or maybe a Steel Crusher done this way. |
