I don't know if its been asked before so mod's close if I'm at fault...
I've been trying to cut some pretty thick plastic for a custom vehicle but it's a pain.. is there a quicker method? I am using exacto knife from Testors... I was considering soldering iron? Any advice would be great.. Thanks! |

probably a saw.. a soldering iron will just melt the plastic an probably weld it back together.

If you are cutting styrene, it is score and snap. DO NOT try to cut all the way through!

You want to go with a dremmel. There are so many different attachments you can buy with them.
Now it were something large and all I wanted to do was cut a straight line, I would use my table saw for that. |
