Great job man. I built mine using a metal 1/18 jeep but i like the use of the vamp which makes for a very nice update.

Giltyone- I liked yours it was dead on original. I considered using a CJ jeep but decided on the Vamp because it was easy to find and it made the lines mesh a little more.
What toy company made that Bronco that you were using for your Jackhammer? I am debating over what vehicle to use for it. I finally found the piece I wanted to use to make the rear turret work and it does not fit under the body that I wanted to use. So I am debating finding a new truck body or just extending the body I have to make it fit (a lot of work). |

I need to push myself to finish the Thunderhawk now. It has been sitting half done for months now. And then I have the base vehicle for Outlaw and kinda have the base vehicle for Jackhammer, but I also have a bunch of regular vehicles half finished I need to work on as well.

do you ever use model kits? I was looking at the model kits at Wal-Mart and most of them are 1:24 or 1:25 scale, not 1:18 scale which is what GI Joe is. Now those kits would be great for more MASK scaled customs, but not for GI Joe. I passed on what they had.

I personally have not used a model kit. Some of my plastic pieces come from some busted up model kits. Yes most model kits at Walmart are smaller scale, but they do make 1/18 scale model cars. If you search Ebay you will see several in that scale. One of the big reasons I have never used one is they tend to be kinda expensive in that scale. |

Actually I take that back I think most are 1/16 not 1/18 but it is still pretty close and at least close enough for Hasbros vehicles which tend to be a little above scale when it comes to land vehicles and a little below scale on most larger vehicles.
