I love it. I could never do anything like that and I have a lbc that I love, too. It's a New Sculpt Zarana head dremeled out and put on a 25th Baroness body. It works amazingly well as an updated Zarana.

Yeah, I think you are right it's like an optical illusion. Still some awesomeness though.
Meant as a reply to M Rex. |

I knew a competitive swimmer in college who was like 6'-3", and she had broad shoulders like that too. Maybe that's it? |

Looks great. Nice clean paint apps. As others have mentioned, the arms seem a tad thick, and I think you could have re-painted Scarlett's upper arms a flesh-tone or dremelled down Zartans biceps to better approximate a female's build, but thats just a personal preference of mine. If you're happy with how the figure came out, then it's all good.

Hey M_Rex, that looks good!
I like your work on it. Good, clean painting (a bit glossy and strong, but the vintage looks the same), and the details like the ragged pants are great. But... Seriously, that torso isn't right...the head is a marvelous sculpt, the better Mad Joe did so far, but i would like to see a new Mad Joe sculpt of the torso, or at least a re tooled lower tosro with added butt. Even a guy shouldn't have those flat cheeks LOL I dont mind she being a bit muscular or athletic, tho. I think it makes sense. |
