While working on my latest installment of my alt-Joe verse "Mercenary Joe", I kept stumbling upon this Beach Head torso I've had in the fodder box for quite a while. So I thought to myself, why not just bust out a quick and nasty custom with some old stuff just hanging around, and be done with it? Well, it turned out to be not so quick, and I'm actually pretty stoked on how he turned out too. This is my first attempt at painting camo patterns, so be honest with your feedback. Also, another milestone: this is my first "official" GI Joe character I've customized. Plenty more to come I'm sure, so stay tuned! Leave your props, critics, advice and questions; I love hearing from everyone!

that looks great. except for the ridiculously oversized knees- nothing personal, I just don't like those (on any figure). really like the paint job and the other parts choices. nice work.

The crowd aint the only thing going bananas!
I like it. Paint looks good. My advice is to try to break up the lines a bit more. Realistic camo is usually dark on anything that sticks out, and lighter on anything that is subdued. The purpose is to break up the shape/silhouette. Still a damn fine job. |
