Falcon's always been one of my favorite GI Joes because he was born in my hometown, Fayetteville, NC and he looks awesome. I put the movie out of my mind almost immediately upon seeing it as a 7 year old, because even then I thought it sucked, so I never got the idea Falcon was a bit of a prick.
I think none of the Falcons released so far do him justice. The first was a terrible sculpt with tiny cube head. The SM version colors are horrible, and there's no way my Falcon's wearing a UN blue beret. So I had to have one that was playable and I put this together, with some inspiration from some other Tankers. Except for the beret and the shotgun, there's no painting involved: Head/Scarf: SM Falcon Beret: SM Falcon, painted and given an SF Flash Torso/Lower Legs/Arms/Hands: Pit Commando from the box-set Upper Legs: Snarler Beachhead Feet: Snarler Beachhead with some modification Webgear: TF Flint Backpack: ROC Firefly Shotgun/Sidesaddle Shells: Marauders Last edited by dbritt; 08-06-2017 at 11:34 PM.. |

Thanks. BTW, sorry for the blurry pics. My camera was acting all kinds of crazy today.

That's a great idea using the Beachhead thighs. It flows seamlessly.

For a no painting custom, this turned out great with parts used.

I wish I could say the BH legs were my idea, but I saw that on here several months ago. I wish I could remember who did it first, because they deserve full credit. It is the exact same camo pattern, so it's brilliant and I owe them big time for the thought.

Very impressed, especially knowing that no paint was involved.

If anyone's looking to duplicate this exactly, one piece of advice. I like the jungle boots look of using the BH feet, and that's why I used those. However, the pegs are different sizes, so I had to get a razor in and slice the circle open on all of them and swap the pegs between feet to make it work. I've had no issues with it at all, so it works, but it takes some precision and patience. Mostly patience.
