you can buy thin rolls. honestly, i never thought about it as i always keep a couple rolls of the stuff i have on hand for use and just grab that. i use it on everything so i'm just used to cutting it as needed. but yes, they do sell it in various width rolls.

Can't wait to see this PP 'dillo done. Man you sure put a lot of time and effort into masking the PP patterns off, don't know if I could do that w/o going crazy lol. I know what you mean about those 2 small pegs on the turrett. I too almost broke them but didn't, hopefully they don't break when I put it back together. I didn't have any problem with the lower turrett taking paint, did you? I started my IG Sharc last night too and almost finished the Red Tide squad(just some minor paint apps left and then 4 more custom CG RT Pilots). Hey arch, have you ever taken appart a vintage(or PP) Asp? I have one that's waiting to be cleaned before painting but can't get the front of the main body shell unsnapped without breaking the tabs. I was wondering if you have done one yet?

i picked up an asp and mms on ebay long ago wanting to add it to my crimson guard hiss. i didn't spend much time on it then but i did not see a way to break them down to smaller pieces without breaking them. if you figure it out, let me know, i'd like to pick up more.
i put another hour into the grid last night while watching fringe. i'm hoping i can finish it by thursday.

Can't wait to see what this looks like when it's done.
Between you and Cobra Crimson, I have tons of inspiration for when my shop gets done.

i don't think i've ever posted a picture of my parts bins. these are clear polycarbonite display cases fro my rc cars which i recycle and use as parts bins. each vehicle gets a bin of it's won to put all the loose parts in, along with sticker sheets, etc. this is how i keep from loosing stuff while having all these vehicles in various stages of assembly or disassembly.
