Yeah, it's getting a lil tired, no? I mean, I know we don't exactly have the most "female friendly" hobby, but this just reeks of juvenile, antiquated desires. Right down to the "hooker" mascara on Ninja Force Scarlett. GI Joe is awesome because it's always had amazing female characters that weren't sexual caricatures.
I do, however, really enjoy the colours on that ninja force Scarlett, and it's actually pretty well done despite my ranting. Good job. It's sad really. The big knockers is pretty juvenile but what really gets old and takes this from "custom" to "juvenile custom" is the unzippered tops. This are soldiers. They wouldn't go into combat with tops unzipped like that. Bombstrike had big knockers, for a toy. Follow that example if have to.

Well... in my personal opinion, saying that gi joe figures can´t have adult features or nipples, is like saying that all Gi Joe Material should be always kid friendly, including comics, movies, books and fan art.
Should that apply to dioramas showing blood and gore from zombies are bad? Or soldier stories made with custom joes that have a more real army aproach with Personal Defence Contractors fall on that category? How many open face Duke being tortured by Mind Bender are on the customs site area right now? Something like that happens on Deviant Art, where all fan art of characters can´t represent them with other age than on the show they come from. Or Australia saying all games should be kid friendly, so R games are forbidden. Steak Eyes figures are just his point of view of the series, and mixing his art style to a hobby he likes. Personally, I think it is great. Just a point of view. Dont get me wrong. The customs are nicely done. Painting and the work done are top notch. Scarlett is done well as well as the faces of NF Lady J and the other chick but again it is like most guys in a bar looking at the cleavage and not the face.

I appreciate any praise or criticism given here but to call my work juvenile is far off base. You are familiar with "The David" - a nude male sculpture created by a homosexual man- would you critics call this work "juvenile" or perverse? I doubt it. I'm nowhere near as talented as Michelangelo but I'm an artist all the same.
@Zarack what is "getting a little tired" is ppl like yourself who entirel miss the point art criticism - was the work done well? Did it do what it was intended? I intended to make sum figures that fit into a particular universe one inspired by comic books like Danger Girls. I've heard her boobs r too big & it's a tit nipply in here & so forth - not an original thot & poor attempt at offering any real constructive criticism. They were intentionally made that way so I did notice without your bringing it up LOL.

J Scott Campbell, and Greg Horn make great money and have wonderful careers in comics doing these cheeky types of characters.

To each is own. Don't take criticism to heart, but rather to head. I'm sorry that your thread has become a scape-goat for this discussion, but there is a few of us that would rather not see our hobby become an Anachronism of forced sexuality within our art form.

It's about etiquette. I assume we all know how to act on FB. If u see something u don't like or disagree with u don't go on comment on that persons page u ignore it. Same applies here. This is my link. If you wanna start your own link about how much tits on figures make u uncomfortable by all means do so just don't bring ur issues to my link. The topic I started has nothing to do w/ur personal feelings- I frankly don't care about that & do not wanna hear it. I enjoy constructive criticism - key word is constructive. Some comments were offensive & will not b tolerated. I have a very large clientele so there is a definite place for what I do. I've sold hundreds of these figures so enuff said.
Btw I used a 25th pilot Scarlett head & got the ponytail from a 30th Scarlett.
