Just entered this in the http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...m-contest.html and thought I'd stick it up here too.
From Filecard: Codename: Sicaris File Name: Unknown Primary Specialty: Covert Operations Secondary Specialty: Silent Weapons Born into the Mossad to a lifelong Nazi-hunting father but lacking the taste for revenge, Sicaris eventually left to freelance. The Israelis didn't appreciate this and it didn't take long for him to find his way to Scotland and turn his occasional contracts to Destro into a full-time job for the financial and personal security. He reports directly to Colonel Masque and is known to accompany Leored on missions when a more subtle approach than the bullish Huerta is needed. While his actual name is not known, "sicarii" is Hebrew for "dagger-men" or a more modern translation of "contract killer". He is an expert in edged-weapons and silenced small-calibre firearms and is highly-proficient in close-quarters combat. [All references to characters Colonel Masque, Leored and Huerta are courtesy of the awesome Tales from Castle Destro: Visual Reference Guide and offer profuse thanks for my blatant borrowing of the story.] *** Recipe: Head - STORM SHADOW (v44), YOJOE.COM Chest - CONRAD "DUKE" HAUSER (v34), YOJOE.COM Abdomen - CONRAD "DUKE" HAUSER (v34), YOJOE.COM but Dremelled off and plastic-welded to... You know it really reminds me of two characters, Night Thrasher from Marvel comics New Warriors and a little bit of a grown up Kickass by Mark Millar. Cool stuff man

Thanks.
Nice pickup! Night Thrasher was always one of my faves in High School, and as this figure started to come together, I really started thinking of him. Hell, if I'd had some batons around, I mighta stuck them in there just to see if anybody noticed. And Kickass... well, he's the hero we all really want to be, aside from Batman, of course. also the POC shock trooper has a pair. |
