I too, wasn't familiar with the characters...
Wookieepedia to the rescue! Tonnika sisters - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki Damn, it's really true that any shot of any SW movie with any one or thing in the background has had an extensive back story created... NERDS! Damn fine work, Lance! Really like how nicely executed these are. Excellent job, as always. |

LOL! Neither was I. When I was asked to make these customs, I accepted it mostly bc I thought it would be a nice challenge in terms of how to do the hair, and finding the perfect material for the leg band and belt. It turned out to be a lot more work than I originally thought but I enjoyed being out of my comfort zone and I really love the results. Can't believe these chicks were in the background of the Star Wars: "A new hope" movie for less than a few seconds and look at all the devotion to them. Pretty cool. |
