I've got a "mystical" type custom character that I'm working on, and in his little collection, are Thors hammer, Red skulls cosmic cube, the Hellraiser box and a little Necronomicon... but these artifacts, and the house, are even cooler....

I am pretty sure I have said it before, but you sir are an artist. Just a brilliant photographer. Do you have non toy based work?

Stellar set! I was surprised to not see a pic with the roof top on and the windows open?!

I'm so happy for you Monte, looks terrific! I knew you really wanted that bookcase, awesome. Some terrific relics in there, the rolled up maps look great, I will add some to mine in your honor (consider it stolen if you prefer)... I think you need to add a few Marauders' chairs at least. Also, WTF is 2 1-B doing there?!? PM me if you need anything buddy. Congrats again! Milt

Thanks, everybody, for all the kind words.

Heh-heh. I think of it as some weird sort of helmet souvenir from an adventure to another dimension or beneath the Earth or something. Quote:

To answer your question, no, I'm all about toys, although sometimes when I'm out I'll snap a photo of the surrounding nature: My dad, while no less an amateur than I, is a far greater nature photographer; he has captured some stunning photos of wildlife. Quote:
...whereas it simply didn't occur to me to open the windows. Put simply, I was afraid I'd never photograph the thing, so I figured I'd post these half-assed shots to motivate me to get the house to the canyon for a real shoot. Yeah, someone was selling the Peter Parker figure on eBay, still sealed in the package, and when I asked if they'd open it and just ship me the bookshelf, they waived the shipping charges. It was awesome! Quote:
I may even have the document still; PM me your e-mail address and I'll try to track it down and send it to you. Quote:
I may add a chair or two, but the house belongs to Badlands, and I've decided he only "lives" there in a vague sense; he sleeps outdoors and only uses the house as a place to study. Thanks again, everyone! More, vastly improved and more interesting photos coming soon. |
