What JoeRyhno posted is as far as you can get without cracking the body, although I must say I hated my deadpool until I cracked him open and tightened his hips(I used superglue accompanied with tissue paper.

Where does the tissue paper go? Never done that before.

basically the peg is in the shape of a nail and there is a hard plastic piece that is wrapped around the thin part, put tissue or a lot of super glue on the peg or in between and it makes the peg have constant friction with the hard plastic holding piece... I should have taken a pic, my b.

To get to the peg, you have to crack the lower torso, yes?

yes. You can try to boil and pop the hip all you want but it is not going to come out, the "head of the nail" is to wide and can not be pulled through the small opening made for the peg.

So annoying Hasbro left out the legs screws, they would say it's because of cutbacks and that a pair of screws costs too much.

Umm...no. There's no need for the screws with this construction. The legs are sonic welded together. There's no need for them in the Joes either, really. They're only there for the overly nostalgic. Without the screws you get a much more aesthetically pleasing leg. Do you see screws on Marvel Legends, Masters of the Universe or DCUC figures? No. And it's not because the companies are too cheap to use them.

Well, you are correct. They don't make them to be taken apart. The screw just makes it easier to fix their faults.

How do you manage to get the knee pins out? My Deadpool has loose hips and knees. I think I'll try the wrapping thread technique on the hips as it's not too invasive, i.e. cause possible damage.
