Those are really great! I love the Rock n Roll version you did. That's awesome! What body did you use for Dial Tone? It that Leatherneck or Buzzer? Great job on those! I love seeing customs on this site. Keep them coming!

I used a leatherneck for Dialtone. The legs ended up going to Rock N Roll. I thought the green shirt style Rock N Roll was a classic, but ultimately dull. I took a couple cues from V2 to give it a bit more depth.

Short of sculpting on the shades, I can't think of any easy in-scale solutions. You can try doing some detailed X-acto knife work on Scrap-Iron's goggles (they're the best looking removable eyewear I've seen in the 25th Anniversary line in terms of scale). Otherwise, your only other option is to buy some cast sunglasses like the ones here.
Personally, I would've just bypassed the removable shades thing and used Wild Bill's head (maybe sculpted on some more "jaw"). But that's just me. And while the Indy hat looks cool on the Sarge, it's still not his "Smokey" hat. It shouldn't be too hard for you to sculpt it into the appropriate shape, though. Depending on the stiffness of the material (I have no experience with Hasbro's Indiana Jones toys), you might be able to re-mold it by hand with just some exposure to indirect heat or submerging it in boiling water. All in all, I think the quality on your WIPs are top-notch, and I can't wait to see them finished. |

For Sarge hat used the hat from the 89 version where he had the Warthog and sanded down the crown looked too much like a helmet than a Smokey Hat; for glasses try the Mutt Williams Bike figure just gently remove lenses from face and glue to the head and to make it realistic glue some glasses handles to sides of head when done |
