Nothing special on my end. I just took the desert flamethrower viper-head and swapped it with the desert explosives expert head.
Now that the head is complete, I repainted the viper's rifle and backpack from the custom fodder I have left. Once all is dry, put finished figure on a viper stand and there you go. Only thing I have not mastered, even though I have the directions, is cracking the chest apart. I am afraid of breaking them in mid-customization. So now I have a properly wristed, long sleeved, custom Sand Viper. |

Oddly enough, mine was glued on.
I think EVERYONE gives Grand Slam a Jump pack By the way, wasn't there someone here who cast a few of those flame bases? I could use a couple, and don't want to hunt down Boba Fett.

I trim back the plastic on the biceps and elbows so they can bend farther, and separate the trigger finger so they can go on the trigger. I also trim back the extra plastic on the "V-Crotch" so my figures can sit better.
I also painted the tail feathers on Polly yellow to match the cartoon. Sometimes if the handles on the guns are too thick, I trim them down so they don't stretch the hands out too much.

Well I figured after I wrote that you probably knew or something. I thought mine was glued as I tried 3 times to remove the gear and gave up. I had the thought of the 5 pack swap out for the staff and cape for my CC and for whatever reason that day I opened the 5 pack the gear I wanted off the 80's one came off. It was still a bit*% but it came off and you can see it was made to be removed. For whatever reason it's like getting in Fort Knox though.

Plus, I like that the stirrup pants are painted on the 5-pack CC. That seems to be the major paint app difference between the 2, besides the glued-on pack. |

Okay, finally finished up my Para-viper. These aren't huge changes but I loved this figure and I couldn't stand the orange and yellow paint. I switched that out for navy and black and left the purple jumpsuit and some gray. First "custom" I've ever done and I like that I didn't have to start over or throw it away when I was finished!

I used the vest, gun, backpack and "Cobra Viper" stand from my single carded Viper, on my 5 pack Viper.
I like the vintage look of the grey gun, and vest with black side pouches instead of grey.

I took the Backpack,Webgear and gun holster from the single card Firefly and put it on the CP FF.I like the darker camo.
I also forgot.I took the jetpack and rifle from the jetpack duke and gave it to my grandslam.
