I put the webgear from the TRU Snake Eyes on the single card Snake Eyes V2 and I put a head from Bantha 5 on the TRU Cutter.

NICE! The default Cutter just isn't doing it for me. It's bad enough they had to use Gung Ho's head, but then the hat that looks nothing like a baseball cap...that was unforgivable I might have to borrow this idea!

Like someone mentioned earlier, I think everyone modifies their Grandslam with a jetpack and the standard rifle. Of course that's because that's the way he should have been from the beginning right? You know, Hasbro should ping us for ideas once in awhile. Us, the fans, just might know a thing or two about what we want in our Joes. Just a thought....
The only mod I made to that setup was I bought a Steeler from the Battle Pack to get the dark visor to add to GS. Much better looking that way..... |

Hard to see in the pic but he's on the left behind Slipstream. By taking off the chestplate on Matt Trakker, I find he looks a lot better.
Another minor tweak is putting Deep Six head on a shark tattoo Shipwreck and popping on the SRO2 Deep Six hands on him. Not as easy but still not too hard and no painting required. I put the comic pack Shipwreck arms on the new 5 pack one and modified the hands to fit. To make it simpler, you can simply use the hands from SRO2 Deep Six or Flint's or any of those types of hands. Shortfuze was easy. Took UBP head and put on Comic Pack Duke body and Clutch lower legs on and used Short Fuze's gear.

I took the scarf from the young indy figure and painted it sandy brown and put it on the buttom of Dusty's face.
It fits nicely, it's a simple tweak, and is useful, since he's need it in case of a sandstorm. Also, on BBQ I painted a paperclip orange, cut it down to a small "V" and glued it to the backpack, now it acts as a clip to hold his axe. |

Also, I mixed and matched both Rock N' Roll parts so that the CP R&R is the base body, but I used the straps and gear from the single-pack version so that the greens are two-toned. It makes him not so monochromatic, and I like the short sleeves better for a heavy gunner.
